The Environmental awareness has an important role amongst all age groups, with the aim to raise awareness and change deeply rooted habits and procedures. Thus it becomes a fundamental tool in helping a change in behavior towards the environment come about. Raising awareness is searching to achieve a predisposition in the general population, so as to change their attitude.

Changing attitudes requires education, thus providing the means to change which lead to a better attitude and adequate behavior towards the environment, arising from the increasingly acute awareness for the need to modify human behavior towards the characteristics of modified and natural places, restoring their necessary balance.

Conscious of these needs, Futuramb organizes a wide range of activities, using vermicomposting as a basis and not neglecting other parts. They want to promote this educational principle, in order to stimulate the proximity of the general population towards major environmental issues, making the population pro-active towards the environment.
Through the practice of Vermicomposting they promote the creation of Sustainable School Gardens.
