In this section you can access all of Futuramb’s books. You can also read free excerpts, that will hopefully help you decide which book to buy.

VERMICOMPOSTING – ORGANIC WASTE MANAGMENT (soon)
Engineering in vermicomposting has been developing and positioning itself as a low cost method that generates economies of scale – vermicompost, vermicompost tea and earthworm biomass, and is available to all of the population from small, to medium or large-scale solutions.

The intention of this book is to present through the necessary scientific rigor principles, processes and applications of vermicomposting in a clear and objective manner. The information contained herein may be of interest to researchers, senior technicians, students, students from public and private higher education schools specialized in environmental engineering, agricultural sciences, ecology and biology, as well as the general public.

VERMICOMPOSTING MANUAL FOR KIDS (soon)
This book is a fun book that teaches you to practice vermicomposting in your house or on a farm.

For example, you can now build a vermicompostor, and learn how to produce fertilizer from food scraps… that you usually produce at home!

You’ll see that it will be a fun experience and your parents and friends will like to learn about it.

VERMICOMPOSTING TEA – SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING (for now, just in e-book format)
In this book you will learn how to formulate and apply vermicompost tea in a practical and rigorous way. Vermicompost tea presents itself as a nutritious solution, but mainly as a source of suppressive microbial fauna like pests and diseases in vegetable production – bacteria, fungi, protozoa and nematodes, being produced as an aqueous extract in continuously aired reactors in the presence of nutrients.
It can be applied to soil through a hydroponic system or by spraying. It represents a solution to reducing the use of pesticides, protecting ecosystems and other natural resources.

VERMICOMPOSTING MANUAL FOR ORGANIC PRODUCTION (for now, just in e-book format)Manual de Vermicompostagem para a Agricultura Biológica
Organic agriculture is defined as an Organic Production Mode that promotes the well-being of populations, maintenance of ecosystems, no use of pesticides, energy efficiency and use of certain resources (water and nutrients) obtained on the farm.

In the case of nutrients for crop production, the use of vermicomposting is presented as a practice that promotes the increase of organic matter in soil, promoting long-term fertility and consequent productivity of the soil without using pesticides.

One step when focusing on organic agriculture involves the acquisition of this Manual.
